Getting started
Open No-Red Budget App, add income and expenses manually or upload CSV, TSV, TXT, JSON, OFX, or QFX files. Review detected rows, approve the items you want, then create or download your budget views.
Web/PWA install
Laptop users can open the app in Chrome, Edge, or another supported browser and use the browser's install option when available. iPhone users can open the app in Safari, tap the Share button, and choose Add to Home Screen. Mac, Windows, Chromebook, Android, and iPhone access may depend on browser support and device settings.
Paid access help
If you purchased Web/PWA access, keep your Stripe/app-store receipt and purchase email. If an access code or instruction is provided, store it carefully. Clearing browser storage may remove local unlock status and local budget records.
Planning ahead
The month selector uses the device date/time by default and also lets users choose future months. Each month is stored separately so future planning does not overwrite the current month.
Import tips
Best results come from exports with columns such as Date, Description, Amount, Debit, Credit, Category, Type, or Frequency. PDF statements are not directly parsed in this standalone version unless the user copies text out and saves it as TXT.
Backups and moving devices
Use Export backup before clearing app data, changing phones, or reinstalling. To move data to another device, export a backup from the old device and restore it on the new device.
Delete local data
Use Reset app data inside the app or clear the app/browser storage on the device. Because this version does not use cloud accounts, deleting local data on the device removes the app's local copy from that device.
Important disclaimer
No-Red Budget App is a planning tool, not financial, tax, legal, accounting, lending, credit-repair, debt-settlement, insurance, or investment advice. Always review imported rows and budget estimates.
Contact
